August Newsletter
August blog from ElevateHer International — Empowering women to heal, grow, and thrive across the globe!
A Letter From Our CEO
Dear Friend,
By the time you read this, our team will be on our way to Nairobi, Kenya to equip 150 incredible women leaders. These women are leading in their communities, churches, and families—and our hope is that each of them will not only take bold steps toward healing but also become guides for others on the path to wholeness.
As with every ElevateHer conference, each woman will receive a copy of my book, Does God See Me?—a tool that has become a foundation for so many on their healing journey. This year, we’re excited to add something new: each leader will also receive a special leadership guide of the book designed to help them integrate healing, faith, and guidance as they lead. The full version of the guide will be completed this fall—so stay tuned!
On a personal note, I will be celebrating my 50th birthday in Kenya on August 17th. There is no better way to mark this milestone than doing what I love most—serving women who are poised to change the world. I’m filled with gratitude for the calling God has placed on my life and for the opportunity to walk alongside women across the globe.
Please be in prayer for our team, for the women we’ll be equipping in Nairobi, and for our leadership team as our board and advisory board seek God’s vision for the road ahead. And if you think of me, pray as I step into this new decade with hope, courage, and a heart wide open to what’s next.
With deep gratitude,
Dieula Previlon

ElevateHer - Nairobi, Kenya: EquipHer Conference August 15-25 2025
We're on our way to serve 150 women leaders—courageous women who carry the burdens of their communities while tending silently to their own wounds.
Through EquipHer, our trauma-healing leadership program, we will offer hands-on workshops and faith-rooted encouragement. Each woman will receive:
A copy of Does God See Me?
A healing-centered leadership guide
A personal notebook
A meaningful gift to support her journey
These women are not just participants—they are leaders who will bring healing to entire communities.
It’s not too late to give. Your support helps us equip each woman to rise, lead, and heal from within.
ElevateHer - US: HealHer Circle on Grief with Tricia Gordon, LPC-S
We gather every month to talk about grief because healing takes time and a loving communal space. In these circles, we simply bear witness to one another’s loss and validate each other’s grief journey. One participant recently reminded us of the importance of the space we’ve created by saying, “Thank you for giving us this safe space to grieve.”
This month we’re honored to welcome Tricia Gordon, a trauma therapist who will facilitate our online Grief HealHer Circle. Although this cohort is closed, stay tuned for upcoming circles and chances to join the journey.

Something For You: Create Joy
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. – Psalm 16:11 (ESV)
Family, joy is not something that just drifts into our lives, it’s something we must create, protect, and nurture. Pain, loss, and life’s daily struggles will always try to steal it, but joy is worth guarding with all you have. Lean into the Giver of Joy, the One whose supply never runs dry. When you anchor yourself in God, no matter what storms come, joy will remain not as a fleeting feeling, but as a steady wellspring in your soul.
Repeat this affirmation or write it down somewhere:
Today, I choose to be intentional about joy. I will look for it, make room for it, and protect it fiercely. My joy is rooted in God’s abundance, and in Him, it will never run out.
