July blog from ElevateHer International — Empowering women to heal, grow, and thrive across the globe!

A Letter From Our CEO

Dear Friend,

As July draws us to the midpoint of 2025, I find myself pausing to reflect on God’s faithfulness. Day after day I witness how He multiplies our small offerings into miracles, blessing not only those we serve but our team as well. Today I am delighted to share another example of His unexpected provision for us.

When my husband and I returned to New Jersey in 2020, we were carrying deep grief from the pandemic and the loss of loved ones. We purchased a fixer‑upper that soon became a source of healing; daily we were awakened to birds singing, tall Jersey trees echoing God’s strength and stability, and a kind of quiet that soothed our hearts. Next to our house laid an empty lot of nearly 12 acres. We would often imagine and dream ElevateHer acquiring it and transforming the land into a retreat center where women could rest, heal, and be restored like our land did for us.

In May, that dream took a major step forward. With Fresnel’s superb negotiation skills, the entire property was donated to ElevateHer. Yes, 11.57 acres of land donated to ElevateHer! Only God could orchestrate such a story, and we stand in awe of His generosity.

Please join us in celebrating this unexpected gift. We sense that God is preparing us for something significant ahead, and we would be honored to have you continue to journey with us to be a part of that work.

May I ask you for one favor? Would you consider becoming one of our prayer partners? If you feel led to pray with us in this season of change and anticipation, simply reply to this message and we will add you to our prayer list.

Thank you for believing, as we do, that the world changes when women heal and lead from their healing.

With gratitude,

Rev. Dieula Previlon, LPC
Founder & CEO, ElevateHer International Ministries

ElevateHer - Nairobi, Kenya: EquipHer Conference 2025

This August, ElevateHer is traveling to Nairobi to serve 100 women leaders who shoulder the pain of their communities while quietly carrying their own wounds. Through EquipHer, our leadership trauma‑healing program, we’ll provide hands-on workshops, and faith-rooted encouragement so each leader can take steps toward healing and guide others to wholeness.

Your part is simple but powerful:
A gift of $10 helps each woman receive the materials needed (care‑package of training materials, journals, and comfort items) that help each leader learn, grow, and feel cared for. Our belief is this: “You can’t heal communities until you restore the women who hold them together.”

So partner with us today because healed women change the world.

Give $10. Equip a leader. Multiply hope.

ElevateHer - US: HealHer Circle on Grief with Sharifa Stevens

We gather every month to talk about grief because healing takes time and a loving communal space. In these circles, we simply bear witness to one another’s loss and validate each other’s grief journey. One participant recently reminded us of the importance of the space we’ve created by saying, “Thank you for giving us this safe space to grieve.”

This month we’re honored to welcome back Sharifa Stevens, author of When We Talk to God, who will facilitate our online Grief HealHer Circle. Although this cohort is closed, stay tuned for upcoming circles and chances to join the journey.

Last Wednesdays of every Month | 7PM CST

ElevateHer - US-ACEP Status

We have some great news, recently the National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc (NBCC) approved ElevateHer International to be an Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP).

What this means is ElevateHer will be able to provide continuing education to Professional Counselors nationally for continuing education credit. We are on our way of being a leading organization providing trauma informed training to professionals globally. This is great news because when leaders are trauma informed, women have a better chance at thriving.

Something For You!

The Discipline of Gratitude

I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. Ps. 9:1

It’s common knowledge that our brain leans more towards negative thoughts. It reacts more strongly to negative events than positive ones. And it remembers the negative ones more than the positive ones. Which means if we don’t create a discipline for reflecting on the good, giving thanks and being grateful; we will walk around carrying nothing but negativity.

Reflecting on the positive and giving thanks has been proven to decrease stress levels, and improve resiliency and joy. That's why we, at ElevateHer, pause often to reflect and give thanks to God for all the ways he shows up.

So give it a try this month. Make a gratitude journal. Each day reflect on all that’s happened and write a few things you are grateful for. Keep track of how reflecting on the positive makes you feel.
