Letter From Our CEO

Dear Friends,

This month has been one of realignment. Coming out of the gala, we’ve gained renewed clarity, energy, and conviction to move forward with purpose.

We’re also excited to share that we’ve made a strategic investment in our future by bringing on Jessica Cloud as our fundraising and development consultant. Already, she has helped shift our posture and expand our vision for what’s possible. We’re deeply grateful for her partnership, and we invite you to keep this work in your prayers as we continue to build sustainably and with intention.

In this season, we are going deeper into our calling, training leaders and creating sacred spaces where women can heal and communities can truly thrive.

Let’s keep joining forces and together we can help heal women, heal the world. Thank you for your continued support.

With gratitude,
Dieula Previlon
CEO, ElevateHer International Ministries

Trauma Informed Leaders Cohort Online

We are officially halfway through our Leaders Trauma Healing Cohort and what a journey it has already been. By God’s grace, we exceeded our enrollment goals by 50%, a clear sign that leaders are hungry for this work.

Each week, these leaders show up fully engaged, ready to learn, reflect, and dig deeply into the content. The conversations have been rich and dynamic. You can almost see the lightbulbs turning on, moments of clarity, healing unfolding in real time, and leaders already beginning to imagine how to integrate these tools into their leadership and communities.

This is how transformation begins not just in individuals, but in the spaces they lead.

As we move into the final three weeks, we invite you to keep these leaders in your prayers, that what has been planted will continue to grow, take root, and bear fruit in the lives of many.

Retreat For Women Leaders in partnership with Come Before Winter

We are also preparing for a meaningful time of global connection and renewal. On May 26th, we will be traveling to Malaysia to partner with Come Before Winter, an organization whose mission is to help women in ministry thrive by providing space and time for God to renew, equip, honor, and unite women in Christian leadership. As they beautifully say, when women in ministry thrive, the global Church thrives and grows.

Each year, they host a retreat for women leaders and this will be our first year partnering with them. We are honored to be invited into this sacred space.

From May 26th through June 7th, we will join these leaders in a time of rest, reflection, and renewal. We believe this will not only pour into the lives of the women attending, but also strengthen the communities and ministries they lead around the world.

We would deeply appreciate your prayers during this time; for safe travels, meaningful connection, and lasting impact. If you feel led, you can also partner with us through giving online as we continue this important work globally.

Prayer and Fasting for Lilly Foundation Grant

We invite you to join us for a time of fasting and prayer during the second week of May.

Over the past few years, fundraising has not been easy. Yet, even in the midst of challenges, we have continued to build, piloting programs, stewarding what we have, and moving forward with intention and faith.

This month marks an important step for us as we apply for a grant through the Lilly Endowment that would allow us to scale our work and expand our reach. We have been diligent—meeting, writing, refining the proposal, building budgets, and working closely with our grant partner. Now, we are trusting God to move on our behalf.

A group of our board members will be setting aside time to fast and pray, and we would be honored if you would join us. We believe that what God is building through ElevateHer is bigger than us and we need both wisdom and provision for what lies ahead.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer.

Connect us to your network

One of the key areas Jessica and our team is working on is to move more intentionally and engage with our community.

So, I want to personally ask for your help.

Would you consider connecting us to your network? If there’s an event we should be part of, we would love an introduction. If there’s a foundation we should get to know, we would be grateful to connect. If you’re aware of an organization that could benefit from our trauma-informed training and support, please let us know.

And if you’d simply like to connect directly, I would love that. You can schedule time with me using my personal Google calendar link below.

We truly believe that this work grows through relationships and you are a vital part of that.

Haitian Heritage Month

This month, we celebrate Haitian Heritage Month; a time to honor the rich history, resilience, and cultural legacy of Haiti.

I’m also honored to share that I will be serving as a keynote speaker at the Haitian Flag Day event hosted by Irvington Township. If you plan to be in attendance, please stop by and say hello; I would truly love the opportunity to greet you in person.
